Industrial Development : MSME businesses in Sagaing Industrial Zone

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Ko Lay inspected MSME businesses in Sagaing Industrial Zone on 13 September. The Chief Minister visited “Soe” Condensed Milk and Natural Yogurt Factory in Sagaing, where officials explained the production processes. The factory produces about 560 viss of condensed milk and 240 viss of yogurt daily. The Chief Minister called for cooperation with dairy farmers to ensure a sufficient supply of raw materials and urged the factory to maintain hygiene and quality in its products. The Chief Minister also visited Myanmar Step footwear factory, where he inspected the production and packaging of various types of shoes and the recycling of old rubber boots into raw materials. He gave necessary instructions to increase production and ensure adequate raw materials. The Chief Minister later visited “Maha Nilar” two- and three-wheeler factory and inspected the assembly and production of three-wheelers and motorcycle parts. He also coordinated with officials on the requirements for further production.
