The Vice President made these remarks while delivering a speech at the plenary session of the 11th Eastern Economic Forum, held at the Far Eastern Federal University campus in Vladivostok, Russia, at 4:00 PM local time on September 3rd. It is said that the Eastern Economic Forum is important for promoting economic cooperation, investment, technological innovation, and connectivity in the Asia-Pacific region, strengthening partnerships, and seeking opportunities for long-term development. Myanmar is working to promote digital development by utilizing modern technologies in the fields of digital skills, innovation, agriculture, industry, education, health, and public administration, it was stated. Vice President U Nyo Soe also said that Myanmar is strategically located in the Asian region, serving as an important land bridge connecting the Indian, Chinese, and ASEAN markets, and that its membership in ASEAN, Lancang-Mekong, and BIMSTEC provides opportunities to increase regional trade and economic connectivity. Furthermore, Vice President U Nyo Soe called for leveraging Myanmar's location at the junction of the India-Myanmar-Thailand Trilateral Highway, the ASEAN Highway Network, the East-West Economic Corridor, and the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor as an opportunity.
