During his official visit to South Korea, Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man met with Moon Jin-seok, Chairman of the ROK-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians' Group, on the morning of September 8 in Seoul. The meeting involved an exchange of views on the development of bilateral relations, particularly on strengthening parliamentary cooperation. Vietnam emphasized its commitment to its strategic partnership with South Korea and expressed its intention to further deepen cooperation across a wide range of sectors, including economy, trade, investment, culture, and people-to-people exchanges. Chairman Moon Jin-seok praised Vietnam's achievements in economic growth and social development and expressed the Korean parliament's eagerness to further develop friendly relations with Vietnam. Specific proposals were reportedly made regarding enhancing people-to-people exchanges to deepen mutual understanding and expanding economic cooperation. Vietnam has achieved economic growth under its one-party system, and South Korea is one of Vietnam's key economic partners. This meeting is expected to be a concrete step towards further strengthening relations between the two countries.
