Saturday rain showers seen in parts of PH due to ‘habagat’, ITCZ
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) forecasts rain showers in parts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao over the weekend due to the southwest monsoon (habagat) and the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ). The agency also noted a possibility of an intensifying El Niño.
