The Prime Minister was welcomed by Hua Chunying, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, and Cambodian officials working in China. Prime Minister Hun Manet led a high-level Cambodian government delegation on an official visit to China, which commenced on the morning of Wednesday, July 15, 2026, and will continue until July 17, 2026. This visit is made in response to an invitation from the Chinese government. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cambodia, Prime Minister Hun Manet is scheduled to attend the World Artificial Intelligence Conference 2026 in Shanghai on July 17, 2026, where he will deliver a keynote address on the theme "Partnership in Artificial Intelligence for a Brighter Future." Accompanying the Prime Minister are Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Tea Seiha, as well as other senior government ministers and representatives from Cambodia's business community.
