Vietnam Begins New School Year: Top Party Official Addresses Ethnic Boarding School

On the morning of September 5, Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Member of the Politburo and Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam's Central Committee, attended the opening ceremony of the 2026-2027 academic year at the Ethnic Boarding School of Bac Ninh Province (Trường phổ thông dân tộc nội trú tỉnh Bắc Ninh), joining teachers and students in celebration. As part of his busy schedule as a top Party official, Mr. Tu paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (House 67) and co-chaired the first Vietnam-Singapore Strategic Dialogue. This opening ceremony coincides with the start of the new academic year across the country, with many areas inaugurating and completing multi-level boarding schools. In Vietnam, ensuring equal educational opportunities for ethnic minorities and promoting regional development are key policy priorities for the Communist Party.
