Cambodian PM Orders Border Security Reinforcement to Prevent Illicit Economy

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet has instructed authorities in Stung Treng province to resolutely prevent it from becoming a hotbed for illicit economies. He emphasized strengthening the crackdown on cross-border crimes, particularly drug trafficking, and dismissed nine officials involved. The province's geography makes it a frequent transit point for individuals from countries like Myanmar.
