Moc Chau Celebrates Ethnic Diversity Amidst National Day Festivities
The Moc Chau plateau in Son La province is buzzing with visitors during plum and persimmon season. Ahead of National Day, various cultural events and sports competitions are being held across Vietnam, showcasing the nation's diversity and vibrancy.
Na Ka Valley on the Moc Chau plateau in Son La province is now at the height of plum season, as hillsides are covered with ripe fruit in vibrant shades of red and purple. The orchards, laden with plums, are attracting large numbers of visitors eager to experience picking and tasting the fruit amid the peaceful scenery of Vietnam’s northwestern mountains. More than 4,200 athletes from 43 countries and territories recently participated in the Vietnam Trail Marathon 2026 at Moc Chau National Tourist Area in the northern province of Son La. These days, the Moc Chau National Tourism Area in the northern mountainous province of Son La is entering the ripe persimmon season, with orchards across the plateau laden with fruit and attracting large numbers of visitors.
