Cambodia Protests Thai Border Infringement: Buddha Statues and Flagpoles in Preah Vihear Province

The Cambodian government has officially protested against Thailand for further infringements on its sovereignty and territorial integrity in areas illegally occupied by Thai forces. The protest concerns the construction of at least 36 Buddha statues and the installation of two flagpoles in Preah Vihear and Oddar Meanchey provinces, actions deemed violations of a December 27, 2025, ceasefire agreement.
