It has been reported that security forces successfully thwarted an attack by PDF joint forces using FPV suicide drones on Tada-U International Airport in Mandalay Region on the afternoon of September 10. Six drones attacked the areas surrounding the airport, and security forces on aviation security duty detected them with air defense systems and were able to thwart the attack with drone defense measures. Security forces were able to systematically neutralize the explosive and destructive materials carried by the thwarted drones to ensure the safety of the public. It has been reported that due to this drone attack, some domestic flight routes were temporarily suspended, but there was no damage to people, vehicles, or the runway. Currently, flights to and from Tada-U International Airport have been temporarily suspended, and domestic airlines have announced that flights will be temporarily diverted to Anisekin Airport in Pyu-U-Win Township.
