Singaporean Chef Wins Michelin Award for Vietnamese Cuisine

Singaporean chef Chris Fong has won the "Opening of the Year" at the 2026 Michelin Guide for his restaurant NOM Dining in Ho Chi Minh City, which serves Vietnamese cuisine. Fong drew inspiration from Vietnamese culture and street food, achieving international recognition without losing the "Vietnamese soul."
