It was attended by Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U Khin Yi, Deputy Speaker U Maung Maung Ohn, and Members of Pyithu Hluttaw. First, regarding the "Anti-Online Scam Bill"—which was originally introduced in the Amyotha Hluttaw, approved with amendments, and subsequently forwarded to the Pyithu Hluttaw. U Thein Tun Oo, representative of Amarapura constituency and Secretary of the Bill Committee presented the matter to the floor. He stated that the Pyithu Hluttaw Bill Committee agreed with 74 of the amendments made by the Amyotha Hluttaw and requested the Hluttaw's approval. He also sought approval for 41 separate amendments proposed by the Pyithu Hluttaw Bill Committee itself. The Hluttaw subsequently announced its official agreement and approval. Following this, the Hluttaw discussed 14 specific amendments submitted by representatives concerning the bill, along with the comments of the Bill Committee, addressing the proposed changes clause by clause and sub-clause by sub-clause, and resolved them through the voting. The Speaker of the Pyithu Hluttaw then announced that the Hluttaw had approved the entire bill as amended, section by section and clause by clause, and stated that further procedures would be carried out in accordance with the Pyithu Hluttaw Rules. Next, the Union Minister for Construction, U Myo Thant, responded to the questions of Hluttaw representatives including whether the Saw Ye asphalt road in Singu Township could be widened from 12 feet to 18 feet asked by U Tun Tun Naing, (representative of Singu constituency), whether there are plans to arrange housing lots and job opportunities for Tatmadaw personnel, Myanmar Police Force members, and civil servants upon their full-term retirement asked by U Moe Myint (the representative of Thanlyin constituency), whether there are plans to upgrade the 15-mile mountain road from Shinbwayyan Town in Tanai Township to the Sagaing Region border into a macadam (gravel) road asked by U Myint Ko, the representative of Tanai constituency, and whether there are plans to finalize the construction of the No. (1/44) Maykha River-Crossing Suspension Bridge on the Putao-Magweza-Khaunglanphu Road, asked by U Hsin Hsone (representative of Khaunglanphuconstuency). The 15th day of the Second Regular Session of the Third Pyithu Hluttaw was then adjourned, and the 16th day of the session will continue on June 30, it’s reported.
