British Tourist Recovers Lost Camera Bag at Don Mueang Airport Thanks to Police Swift Action

BANGKOK, Thailand – A British tourist has been reunited with a camera bag containing valuable equipment after Don Mueang Tourist Police assisted in tracing the taxi he had taken to the airport and successfully recovered his belongings. The incident occurred on August 6 at approximately 9:47 a.m. when the British tourist and his family reported to Don Mueang Tourist Police that he had accidentally left a black camera bag inside a taxi while en route to Don Mueang International Airport. The missing bag contained a digital camera and camera accessories, prompting officers to initiate a search for the vehicle. Tourist Police coordinated with the airport’s CCTV monitoring team to review footage and identify the taxi involved. Officers were able to determine that the vehicle was a yellow taxi with registration number Tho Lo 5261 Bangkok. Police subsequently contacted the taxi driver, who confirmed that the camera bag was still inside the vehicle. The driver was then instructed to return the bag to Don Mueang Airport, where it was handed back to the tourist. Upon inspecting his belongings, the tourist confirmed that all items were present and in perfect condition. The British visitor expressed his gratitude and thanked the Don Mueang Tourist Police for their prompt assistance and dedicated efforts in recovering his property.
