Philippines Welcomes P1.95B Budget Boost for Classrooms, ARAL, School Safety
The Philippines' House of Representatives panel has approved an additional P1.952 billion for the Department of Education (DepEd) under the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 national budget. Education Secretary Sonny Angara welcomed the increase, which will be allocated to classroom construction, the ARAL program, and school safety initiatives.
