To date, a total of 13,956,479 land parcels have been surveyed, equivalent to 103% of the estimated parcels. An additional 2.6 million certificates have been issued, bringing the total to 9,641,857 certificates. Additionally, a total of 8,765,419 land ownership certificates have been distributed to residents. The Prime Minister announced that the land surveying, registration, and certificate distribution are projected to be completed by 2027. Kandal Province, comprising 13 districts/towns, 127 communes/sangkats, and 1,010 villages, has an estimated total of 866,700 land parcels. From the start of implementation until July 22, 2026, 100% of surveying, mapping, data entry, and public display have been completed. Of these land parcels, 785,636 ownership certificates have been issued (equivalent to 90.65%), with 522,558 certificates (equivalent to 66.51%) distributed to residents. The remaining certificates number 263,078 (33.49%). Among these remaining certificates, 131,343 are currently being distributed, and 131,735 are subject to a 4% tax.
