Thai King, Queen's upcoming Vietnam visit to strengthen Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

The King and Queen of Thailand are scheduled to visit Vietnam, aiming to further strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations. This visit is expected to serve as an opportunity to further develop the bilateral relationship as a model of development cooperation within the ASEAN region. Vietnam and Thailand have agreed to accelerate cooperation and connectivity in a mutually complementary manner, striving to raise two-way trade to US$25 billion from the current US$22 billion. This will provide strong momentum to translate leaders' commitments into concrete outcomes. The frequency of high-level visits reflects clear trust at the highest leadership level, which can then spread to government agencies and other stakeholders, demonstrating unprecedented efforts to translate trust into concrete results. The festival provides an opportunity to showcase the rich traditional cultures of the two countries, review five decades of friendship and cooperation, and look towards the future.
