Bodies of 2 missing persons found drowned in Yankin

The bodies of two men who drowned and went missing in a brick-built pond (natural pond) located on Nyaung Pin Thar Street, Ward 11, Yankin Township, Yangon Region, have been found, according to the Myanmar Fire Brigade. It is reported that on September 21st, around 4:18 PM, two men drowned and went missing in the brick-built pond (natural pond) on Nyaung Pin Thar Street, Ward 11, Yankin Township. Fire brigade members from the Yankin Township Fire Station went to the scene of the incident to carry out search and rescue operations. Subsequently, around 4:36 PM, the body of one of the two men who had drowned and gone missing was found and transported to the Thanlyin General Hospital by a vehicle from the Moe Set Kyaw Charity Association. It is also reported that the other remaining body was found again around 5:31 PM and was assisted in being transported to the Thanlyin General Hospital by a vehicle from the Myat Metta Social Welfare Association.
