Vietnam Increases Support for War Heroes' Graves to VND 10 Million

Starting October 1, 2026, Vietnam will increase its one-time financial support for the construction and renovation of war heroes' graves to a maximum of VND 10 million (approximately $400 USD). This measure, stipulated in a new decree on preferential treatment for those with meritorious service to the nation, reflects a commitment to honoring fallen soldiers and their families.
