AI Era's Sophisticated Hoaxes, Perindo Party Pushes for Early Detection Ahead of 2029 Election

Such sophisticated hoaxes carry serious risks of distorting the democratic process itself, including manipulating candidates' reputations during election campaigns, dividing public opinion, and even influencing voting behavior. The 'early detection' proposed by the Perindo Party refers to the establishment of a system to identify and neutralize AI-generated hoaxes before they spread widely. This is thought to include the formation of a team of experts well-versed in AI technology, strengthening cooperation with social media platforms, and promoting literacy education for the general public.
