Union Minister U Tin Maung Swe visits Thailand officially

It is known from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the Union Minister of Foreign Affairs, U Tin Maung Swe, made an official visit to Thailand from July 13 to 14 at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow. On the afternoon of July 14, the Union Minister met with the Prime Minister of Thailand, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, at the Government House in Bangkok. It is said that during this meeting, as good neighboring countries based on hundreds of years of friendship, they discussed increasing cooperation on matters related to the interests of both countries and their peoples, and increasing cooperation for security and stability in border areas. Subsequently, the Union Minister attended a working lunch hosted by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. It is known that they discussed the conditions for further increasing cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries, the conditions for bilateral cooperation for stability and peace in border areas, the suppression and eradication of narcotics, the reduction of transboundary haze, and environmental conservation, as well as the promotion of border trade.
