At the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, the Myanmar delegation led by State President Min Aung Hlaing is on an official visit to Thailand from August 6 to 7. During the welcome, the Royal Thai Armed Forces Guard of Honour, in accordance with the custom of welcoming heads of state, took positions on either side of the red carpet and paid respects, and the artillery salute unit fired 21 rounds of artillery salute to welcome State President Min Aung Hlaing. It is known that during the visit, State President Min Aung Hlaing will hold discussions with the Prime Minister of Thailand and attend the Myanmar-Thailand Economic Forum 2026.
