The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has issued its weather forecast for the Jabodetabek region (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi) for Sunday, July 19. Overall, the weather is expected to be characterized by sunny to cloudy conditions, with temperatures ranging between 22 to 34 degrees Celsius. These relatively conducive weather conditions are anticipated to support community activities during the weekend. However, an increase in cloud cover is still potentially occurring in the afternoon and evening in a number of areas. In the DKI Jakarta area, the weather is predicted to be sunny and cloudy from morning to noon. Entering the afternoon and evening, the sky is predicted to be cloudy without significant rain potential. Cloud cover is expected to increase in the afternoon, but the chance of rain is still relatively low. In Depok City, the weather is predicted to be sunny with cloudy weather, with an air temperature ranging from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius. Similar conditions are also expected in Tangerang, with an air temperature between 24 to 33 degrees Celsius. Bekasi is expected to be one of the hottest areas in Jabodetabek, with a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius during the day. The weather, which tends to be sunny, is expected to support community activities, including those who take advantage of the weekend to travel or exercise outdoors. BMKG urges the public to maintain adequate body fluids when carrying out activities outdoors, especially during the day when the air temperature is above 30 degrees Celsius.
