Vietnam: E10 Biofuel Quality and Measurement Found No Violations in Initial Checks

Initial investigations across Vietnam have revealed no violations concerning the quality or measurement of E10 biofuel, which is being progressively introduced nationwide. Inspections conducted at several facilities involved in the production, blending, and supply of E10 biofuel, along with reports from three local authorities, have not identified any non-compliance with measurement or quality standards. The Vietnamese government has outlined a policy to strengthen the role of biofuels within the national fuel system and promote the transition to sustainable energy sources. The introduction of E10 biofuel is considered a part of this initiative. These initial findings suggest a level of reliability in the early stages of the nationwide rollout of E10 biofuel. However, continuous monitoring and quality control will remain crucial going forward. The government has instructed the enhancement of quality surveillance for E10 biofuel and the establishment of a stable nationwide supply system. This is part of the efforts to achieve national energy security and environmental goals.
