Thai Airports to Enhance Checked Baggage Screening from October 16
Thailand's Civil Aviation Authority (CAAT) will implement new regulations from October 16, 2026, allowing random inspections of checked baggage at domestic airports to enhance security. Airport officials will be empowered to open and inspect checked luggage without passenger consent.
