Some Prisoners Who Escaped from PDF-Zoland Prison in Tedim Town Have Returned to the Provisional Government Army's LIB-269

More than 40 prisoners who escaped from the PDF-Zoland detention center in Tedim Township, Chin State, have returned to the LIB-269 battalion of the Provisional Government Army based in Tedim town, according to local residents. The LIB-269 battalion reportedly went to welcome these prisoners with a military vehicle near Lamzan village in Tedim Township on the morning of September 15. "I saw prisoners getting into LIB-269 with a military vehicle. On the vehicle, prisoners with shaved heads and in civilian clothes appeared to be happy. I heard that soldiers from LIB-269 went to welcome them in Lamzan village," a local resident told the Ayeyarwaddy Times. It is understood that among the more than 40 prisoners who escaped from the PDF-Zoland detention center, some have returned to LIB-269, some have been recaptured, and some are still missing. "More than 40 people returned to LIB-269. About 20 were recaptured. The rest are missing," a source close to PDF-Zoland told the Ayeyarwaddy Times. Both the Provisional Government Army and PDF-Zoland are reportedly deploying troops to search for the missing prisoners. On the night of September 13, about 80 prisoners, including officers, escaped from the PDF-Zoland detention center in Tedim Township after beating guards and seizing weapons. These prisoners were members of the army captured during the capture of Kennedy Hill Base and the battle for Falam town in Tedim Township.
