Plans are underway to implement the joint water supply project for 15 villages in Inle area. On Saturday, Shan State Chief Minister U Sai Htein Soe visited Heyar Ywar Ma village in Nyaungshwe Township on Saturday to attend the meeting on the joint project. The Chief Minister emphasized that the state government is prioritizing access to drinking water and irrigation water for villages, and urged local water committees to work together for successful work plan. Later, the Chief Minister and officials inspected materials used in the project, including 619 BioTanks, HDPE water pipes, clean water stations, and mountain spring water facilities, which are being distributed to 36 villages. The initiative highlights the government’s focus on improving rural water supply and village development in southern Shan State.
