
Cambodia Establishes 194 Natural Protected Communities, Engaging Over 70,000 Households
As of 2026, Cambodia's Ministry of Environment has established 194 natural protected communities, involving 73,237 households in managing 332,174 hectares of forest. Fifty-three of these communities are actively providing ecotourism services, contributing to the local economy.
