Cambodian National Assembly President Visits Vietnam to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation

Cambodian National Assembly President Samdech Khuon Sudary is paying an official visit to Vietnam from July 27 to 29 at the invitation of Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Tran Thanh Man. On July 28, following an official welcome ceremony in Hanoi, the two National Assembly Chairmen held talks. This visit is expected to provide an opportunity to review the current state of bilateral cooperation, particularly parliamentary diplomacy, and to chart new directions for further deepening bilateral relations. Vietnam's Ambassador to Cambodia expressed a positive outlook on strengthening bilateral ties. As a member of ASEAN, Vietnam has been actively contributing to maintaining regional peace and stability, promoting prosperity, and advancing regional integration. The meeting with Cambodia is considered to hold significant importance within the context of regional cooperation. Although not directly related to this article, Vietnam has also been pursuing multifaceted growth in economic and technological fields, including potential cooperation with Indonesia in AI and the semiconductor industry, the development of its aluminum industry, and the promotion of its digital transformation strategy.
