Cambodian People's Party Urges Strengthening Internal Unity at Local Meeting

Khun Khundee, a member of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) Central Committee and head of the working group for Kampong Svay district, strongly urged all party members to strengthen internal unity during a party meeting held in Kampong Go Commune, Kampong Svay District, Kampong Thom Province, on the morning of September 6, 2026. Khun Khundee emphasized that solidarity and internal unity are the most crucial tasks for achieving success in the upcoming elections. She called on the working group, as well as all leaders and members of the commune party committee, to stand on a single consensus and cooperate in resolving challenges based on accurate and timely discussions, with high consciousness. Loyalty to the party is a primary duty to build trust and confidence within the party, especially for young people of voting age with high potential, who will serve as a strong foundation to attract support from all directions and maximize the party's victory. Furthermore, she urged the party teams to regularly disseminate the party's achievements to remind and demonstrate the efforts of the party leadership in building and to neutralize the influence of opposition groups that have attempted to attack the CPP. She also encouraged the working group to strive to recruit more party members, particularly young people who have recently reached voting age. She instructed the working group to pay attention to residents with expired, lost, or damaged identification cards, encouraging them to obtain new ones to prepare for voter registration in the upcoming elections. Additionally, she emphasized continuing door-to-door visits to understand the well-being and needs of the people and to resolve them in a timely manner. Khun Khundee also highlighted the border issue between Cambodia and Thailand, urging all party members to trust the Cambodian government, which is diligently working to resolve this conflict peacefully and in accordance with international mechanisms and laws. During this meeting, 33 participants attended, and each received a cloth bag, a sarong, a krama, and 20,000 Riel. Concurrently, Khun Khundee visited the construction site of the new CPP headquarters, which has reached 50% completion.
