Ta Khmau City Police Arrest Five Suspects for Theft and Illegal Drug Use
Ta Khmau City Police in Kandal Province, Cambodia, have arrested five individuals suspected of theft and illegal drug use. Seized items included weapons and drug paraphernalia, with stolen property like a television also recovered and returned to its owner. Police have pledged to continue efforts to maintain public security.
In Ta Khmau City, Kandal Province, Cambodia, police arrested five suspects on July 25 for alleged theft and illegal drug use. The operation was conducted by a joint team from Kampong Chhnang and Ta Khmau police posts, following orders from the Kandal Provincial Police Commissioner and the direct leadership of the Ta Khmau City Police Inspector. As a result of the investigation, a total of five suspects were apprehended. Seized items included two metal swords, several drug paraphernalia items belonging to the suspects, an AKAI brand television, a woodworking electric saw, a power strip, and a disc player. These items, identified as belonging to victims, were recovered by the authorities and returned to their rightful owners. Currently, the apprehended suspects are undergoing legal proceedings. Their case files have been compiled by the specialized departments and submitted to the Kandal Provincial Court Prosecutor's Office. Ta Khmau City Police Inspectorate stated that they will continue to strengthen patrols, investigations, and crackdowns on all types of offenses to ensure better security, safety, and social order for the citizens.
