Malaysian Defense Minister to Visit Cambodia
Malaysia's Minister of Defense, Mohamed Khaled Nordin, will visit Cambodia for two days from August 6-7. This visit follows closely on the heels of the Malaysian Armed Forces Commander's trip to Cambodia, suggesting a focus on strengthening bilateral defense cooperation. The two nations established diplomatic ties in 1957 and have since fostered robust relations across economic, political, diplomatic, tourism, and cultural spheres.
