Myanmar President Concludes Successful Official Visit to Vietnam

Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing and his wife, along with a high-level delegation, departed from Hanoi on the afternoon of September 6, concluding a successful official visit to Vietnam. The visit was made at the invitation of General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife. During the visit, President Min Aung Hlaing attended the Vietnam-Myanmar Business Forum, where discussions focused on potential economic cooperation between the two nations. He also held official talks with General Secretary and President To Lam to discuss the progress of bilateral relations. Earlier, General Secretary and President To Lam hosted a formal welcoming ceremony for the Myanmar President. Additionally, the spouse of General Secretary and President To Lam accompanied the spouse of the Myanmar President on a visit to Van Phuc Silk Village, a place renowned for its traditional handicrafts, allowing them to experience Vietnamese culture. This visit underscores Vietnam's role as a key ASEAN member committed to regional peace and stability, while also signaling its intention to maintain and develop relations with Myanmar. Vietnam's stance on Myanmar's internal affairs adheres to the principle of non-interference, while supporting problem resolution through dialogue.
