Ex-Senator's Son Sentenced to 132 Years for Online Gambling, Money Laundering; Arrest Warrant Issued
The Criminal Court in Thailand has sentenced Narote Piriyarangsan, son of a former senator, to 132 years and six months in prison for online gambling and money laundering. An arrest warrant has been issued for Narote, who failed to attend his sentencing hearing. Under Thai law, the effective maximum term is capped at 20 years.
