Vietnam reiterates support for two-state solution in Middle East

Minister Counsellor Nguyen Hai Luu reiterated Vietnam's support for the two-State solution based on the pre-1967 borders, in line with international law and relevant UN resolutions, with a view to achieving a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace in the Middle East. This statement is part of Vietnam's foreign policy to contribute to maintaining peace and stability regionally and internationally. As a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Vietnam aims to play a constructive role in addressing regional and global issues. Under its one-party system, Vietnam prioritizes domestic stability and economic growth as a socialist republic. The Vietnamese economy has achieved remarkable growth in recent years, driven particularly by the manufacturing and export sectors. However, alongside this growth, Vietnam faces complex relations with China and geopolitical challenges such as the South China Sea issue. Minister Counsellor Luu's statement suggests that Vietnam is pursuing a foreign policy based on its principles even on critical international issues like Middle East peace.
