iKON Member to Enlist Ahead of Jakarta Concert; Several Members Nearing Military Service Completion
K-pop group iKON's member Junhoe will enlist on August 11, making him unavailable for the group's concert in Jakarta on August 21. This comes as other members are nearing or have completed their military service, raising questions about the group's future activities.
K-pop group iKON member Junhoe (Koo Junhoe) will enlist in the military on August 11, 2026, commencing approximately two years of service. His agency, 143 Entertainment, announced this on July 28. Consequently, Junhoe will be unable to participate in iKON's "FOUREVER" world tour concert scheduled for August 21 in Jakarta. According to the agency, Junhoe will enter a training center to begin his active duty as a soldier. No special send-off event will be held for his enlistment, and access to the location will be restricted for safety reasons, to avoid congestion with other recruits and their families. The agency has requested fans to refrain from visiting the training center and to continue offering their unwavering support for Junhoe's healthy return. Junhoe is the last member of iKON to enlist. Other members have either completed or are nearing the completion of their military service. Kim Jinhwan was discharged in April 2025, Bobby in December 2025, Song Yunhyeong in early 2026, and Chanwoo in November 2025. DK (Kim Donghyuk) is currently serving in the military band. iKON announced their "FOUREVER" world tour earlier this year, with scheduled performances in multiple countries, including Indonesia. However, with Junhoe's enlistment, his participation in the Jakarta concert is now impossible. The concert is slated for August 21 at Istora Senayan, promoted by With Us Indonesia, though details regarding ticket prices and sales schedules have yet to be released.
