
Major Methamphetamine Bust at Yangon International Airport Exposes Transnational Trafficking Network
On 26 April, authorities seized 93.15kg of methamphetamine at Yangon International Airport. Starting with arrests at the airport, follow-up operations led to further seizures in Mingala Taungnyunt and Lashio, effectively dismantling a significant transnational trafficking network valued at 2.31 billion Kyats.
