BJMP Admits Allowing Romualdez Staff Access to His Cell
The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) admitted to the Sandiganbayan that staff of former House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez were allowed to attend to his needs inside his detention cell. This disclosure came during proceedings for the plunder case against Romualdez, linked to alleged kickbacks from infrastructure projects worth P7.44 billion.
