Vietnamese President Meets Vietnamese Community in France

Vietnamese President To Lam, accompanied by his spouse, met with officials from the Vietnamese Embassy and representative agencies, along with representatives of the Vietnamese community in France, at the Vietnam Cultural Center in Paris on September 11 at noon local time, as part of his official visit to the French Republic. During the meeting, President To Lam emphasized the importance of unity and development within the Vietnamese community in France, urging them to make practical contributions to the homeland. Earlier, President To Lam visited the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission and the Thales technology research center. He also held talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, witnessed the exchange of cooperation documents between Vietnam and France, and met with President Macron for a joint press conference. These engagements underscore Vietnam's efforts to strengthen diplomatic ties and deepen cooperation with France, a key European partner. The interaction with the overseas Vietnamese community highlights the government's commitment to maintaining connections with its citizens abroad.
