CPP Welcomes 811 Former Members from Other Parties in Oddar Meanchey

The Cambodian People's Party (CPP) has officially announced the integration of 811 former members from various political parties into its ranks in Banteay Ampil district, Oddar Meanchey province. The ceremony for the induction of new members took place on September 12, 2026, presided over by Mr. Mean Chanyada, Chairman of the CPP Committee of Oddar Meanchey province. The event was attended by numerous party leaders at the district, commune, and village levels. During the occasion, Mr. Mean Chanyada conveyed greetings and well wishes from CPP President Samdech Techo Hun Sen and CPP Vice President and Prime Minister of Cambodia Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet to the new members and all CPP members in Oddar Meanchey province. Mr. Mean Chanyada further stated that the decision of the 811 former political party members to join the CPP is a correct one, demonstrating their confidence in the party's leadership, which consistently prioritizes the maintenance of peace, political stability, and national development in all sectors. "The CPP always keeps its doors open to welcome citizens and patriots from all walks of life who wish to contribute to defending, building, and developing the nation for greater prosperity," he added. Representing the 811 new members, Mr. Mool Srangkran pledged to participate in political life and adhere to the principles of the CPP. The new members committed to respecting the Constitution and laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the party's statutes, principles, and discipline; fulfilling tasks assigned by party organizations with responsibility; regularly attending meetings and party life; striving to study and enhance their capabilities; maintaining internal solidarity and unity; respecting each other; upholding ethics and the party's honor; maintaining close ties with the people, listening to their concerns, and performing their duties well; contributing to maintaining peace, security, public order, social safety, and local development; acting ethically, respecting public interests, and refraining from illegal acts; being truthful and responsible for their actions; and contributing to strengthening the party organization at the grassroots level. The integration of these 811 new members is considered an additional contribution to strengthening the structure and membership of the CPP at the grassroots level in Banteay Ampil district, demonstrating the solidarity of the people in contributing to social work.
