The Ministry of Electricity and Energy announced that a workshop on electricity generation and utilization using solar energy will be held on July 15, and those wishing to attend can register by July 14. The workshop, which aims to significantly increase the contribution of solar power systems to the country's electricity consumption, is being organized by the Ministry of Electricity and Energy and is being planned and prepared for wide-scale implementation within the first week of July 2026. Experts in solar technology, battery technology, and solar power systems, as well as businessmen, responsible persons from relevant organizations, students, and interested individuals, have been invited through state-owned newspapers and television programs since June 1 to participate and provide suggestions. It has been learned that the workshop is scheduled to be held on July 15 from 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM at Horizon Lake View Resort in Dakhinathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, and over 300 people have already registered to attend by July 10. Therefore, those who wish to attend the workshop but have not yet registered can scan the provided QR code to register.
