Bac Ninh Province Connects with Travel Agencies to Boost Tourism in 2026
Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam, held a conference to connect with travel agencies and boost tourism for 2026. The province aims to develop unique tourism products, focusing on cultural and spiritual tourism linked to its heritage sites.
On the afternoon of July 29, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh Province organized a conference to promote and connect with travel businesses with the goal of bringing tourists to Bac Ninh in 2026. This event aims to foster collaboration, develop distinctive tourism products, and enhance competitiveness, positioning Bac Ninh as a preferred destination for a significant number of domestic and international visitors. Seventy-five percent of tourists who visit Bac Ninh are drawn to cultural and spiritual tourism, closely associated with the province's numerous heritage sites. In light of this trend, the province plans to host a Trade and Tourism Fair in 2026 as part of the "Returning to the Land of Heritage" Festival, alongside the promotion of thematic tourism initiatives such as "Fruit Season Tourism." These efforts are seen as a strategic move to establish Bac Ninh as an attractive tourist destination. Under Vietnam's one-party system, local governments are actively promoting the tourism industry to drive economic growth and regional development. While Bac Ninh is primarily known as an industrial hub, it also possesses rich historical and cultural assets. The province aims to leverage these resources for tourism, thereby diversifying its economy and revitalizing local commerce. Considering its proximity to China and the increasing global interest in Southeast Asia, attracting international tourists is also part of its strategic vision.
