Prabowo Claims 1,000 Km of Irrigation, Nearly 4,000 Bridges Built in Villages Under His Administration

President Prabowo Subianto stated that the government has built over 1,000 kilometers (km) of irrigation networks. This achievement was accomplished in less than two years since his administration began. "Over 1,000 kilometers of irrigation have been built," said Prabowo in his speech at the 28th anniversary of the National Mandate Party (PAN), as quoted from PAN TV's YouTube channel on Friday (18/9/2026). In addition, Prabowo mentioned that the government has successfully achieved self-sufficiency for 8 food commodities within one year. The government has also built nearly 4,000 bridges in villages. Prabowo also targets the construction of 5,000 bridges in villages by the end of this year. "We have already built nearly 4,000 bridges, and by the end of the year, 5,000 bridges in villages," Prabowo explained. Prabowo added that the government has sent 228 smart digital screens to all schools in Indonesia. The government will also add up to 300,000 more units for digital screens. "This year we will add perhaps close to 300,000 more. Every school in Indonesia, including in pesantren, will have 4 classrooms with digital screens so that our children will have access to knowledge from all over the world," he concluded.
