Pattaya: Indian Tourists Rescued After Ransom Kidnapping

PATTAYA – Police have successfully rescued three Indian tourists who were lured by a cheap tour package, held hostage for a week, and subjected to brutal torture by a five-person scam gang. The suspects, comprising four Pakistani nationals and one Indian national, physically abused the victims and forced them to demand a 7 million rupee (approximately 2.4 million baht) ransom from their families.
