The Cambodian Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training has announced free vocational training and entrepreneurship programs, along with job placement services, for former migrant workers returning from abroad. This initiative aims to support returnees in expanding their employment opportunities and successfully establishing self-owned businesses within the country. In collaboration with the Homeland Returnee Cambodian Center (HRCC), the ministry will offer programs to help former migrant workers develop additional skills, aligning their experiences and expertise gained abroad with the demands of the local labor market, and enabling them to launch their own successful businesses. Returning workers are encouraged to register directly at the HRCC, located within the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, or to contact them via phone at +855 12 646 500 / +855 10 646 500 during regular working hours. For former migrant workers seeking employment, the National Employment Agency (NEA) will provide job information and free placement services through its hotline number 1297. According to the ministry, the program's objective is to support former migrant workers in continuing their skill development, increasing their chances of securing decent employment, and improving their livelihoods through work or self-employment.
