Cambodian Youth Raise Community Issues at World Vision's Annual Forum

Children and youth representatives from various provinces across Cambodia convened for the "Annual Reflection Forum of Children and Youth Groups" organized by World Vision Cambodia. This significant forum was established to provide an opportunity for youth from all development regions to build networks, share their experiences working within their communities, and acquire new knowledge to disseminate back to their respective communities. According to World Vision, this year's forum saw children and youth representatives engage in direct discussions with the senior leadership team of World Vision. They presented research findings that they had personally led and raised community-level challenges and concerns to the decision-makers. These insights will be further discussed and incorporated into projects designed to meet their specific needs. In addition, all participants also enhanced their capacity in official reporting in accordance with child protection guidelines. By providing children and youth with opportunities to participate in decision-making and discussions, World Vision is fostering a collaborative effort to build a safe and potential-filled future for them.
