The National Unity Government (NUG) -In Thegone Township of Bago Region, 5 junta soldiers died and 2 others were injured in a local battle, according to the Paungty Township People’s Defence Force (3601). -In Pauk Township of Magway Region, the junta army ill-treated and killed 9 people including 2 revolutionary comrades in Kokkusu Village of Pyusawti Militia, according to Magway Regional PDF. -On Sunday, the Interim Government of the Sagaing Federal Unit conducted a meeting (9/2026). -Ministry of Social, Labour and Humanitarian Affairs-NUG stated that there might be strong winds, heavy rainfall and flash floods in 14 states and regions. -At 9:00 am Saturday, there was a meeting between the NUG Central Committee on the Interim Public Administration and People’s Administration Teams from Yangon Region. -In Nyaung-U Township of Mandalay Region, the PDF announced that they would take action against criminals who abduct people, threaten them and demand money by abusing the revolution. -In Pauk Township of Magway Region, 11 people were ill-treated and killed by Pyusawti members in Kokkusu Village. Reportedly, two of them were burnt alive. Revolution Activities -In Kani Township of Sagaing Region, about 10,000 local people have had to flee in case any heavy weapons are fired from the junta’s vessels streaming up the Chindwin River. -Regarding transnational river water pollution through heavy-metal contamination from mines backed by Chinese investment groups Great China in Myanmar, Network to Protect River Kok Sai Ruakkhong protested at the Chinese Consulate in Chiang Mai, Thailand. -In Sagaing Region, local people and strike committees conducted educational talks on preventive measures against aerial assaults and in support of child rights. -In Dibeyin Township of Sagaing Region, an event was conducted in which non-CDM staff apologized to the public. -According to Wetlet Informational Network, the junta’s fleet of vessels streaming up Ayeyarwady River from Wetlet Township arrived at Sintku Township. -Black Dragon Force caught a follower of a local Pyusawti leader Pho Zaw, involved with the junta troops which had committed a massacre of revolutionary comrades in Lema Village of Gantgaw Township. Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs) -In Ledo Township (Kyaukgyi Township) under Karen National Union in Bago Region, a house and a school were damaged due to the junta’s heavy artillery. The Military Junta -In Yezagyo of Magway Region, the junta army demolished the statue of General Aung San on Sunday night. -A Myanmar delegation led by the junta’s Union Minister at the President’s Office U Tin Aung San attended the state funeral of former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in Iran. -In Falam Township of Chin State, although the runway remains in good condition at Surbung Airport, key aviation equipment and parts of the airport buildings, including the control tower, were damaged. -The junta’s spokesperson Dr. Khine Khine Soe claimed that the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing was able to promote relations between Myanmar and Laos to be strategic partnership during his visit to Laos. -According to the junta’s Ministry of Health, over 5,700 patients underwent surgeries at 10 specialized operating rooms of Yangon General Hospital until the end of 2025.
