Bangkok Expressway Enhances Ease Pass Lanes and Road Surface for Traffic Relief

Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) and the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) have announced a significant improvement project at the Si Saman toll plaza on the Uratthaya Expressway (Expressway No. 6). The project's primary objectives are to expand the Ease Pass (ETC) lanes and repair the road surface at this key location. This initiative aims to enhance the convenience for users of the Uratthaya Expressway, a vital artery in the Bangkok metropolitan area, and to alleviate chronic traffic congestion. By expanding the Ease Pass lanes, the project intends to eliminate bottlenecks caused by cash payment queues, thereby increasing vehicle throughput and speed.
