Vietnam, Laos Boost Cooperation in Party Theory and Training

Vietnam and Laos have agreed to further strengthen cooperation between the central theory councils of their respective Communist Parties. This agreement aims to deepen collaboration in the fields of theoretical research and human resource development within the Parties. Specifically, the two councils will promote joint research on strategic issues of mutual concern. Key pillars of this cooperation include linking theoretical research findings with practical reviews and policy consultation, as well as building cooperation networks and fostering exchanges among young theorists. Bilingual research publications will also be encouraged. Vietnam has consistently prioritized strengthening its relations with Laos, and this enhanced cooperation is a testament to that commitment. For both one-party states, reinforcing the theoretical foundation of the Party and nurturing the human resources to support it are crucial for national stability and development. In particular, adapting to rapidly changing international dynamics and economic development challenges necessitates a strong link between academic insights and policy implementation capabilities.
