CPP Strengthens Local Party Organization, Emphasizes Dialogue with Residents

Kae Kim Yan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) Central Committee and Head of the CPP Working Group for Banteay Meanchey Province, met with party officials of all levels throughout Malai District, Banteay Meanchey Province on July 5, 2026. The meeting was attended by a delegation of working group members at all levels. The meeting aimed to strengthen solidarity and promote the continued implementation of the policies of the CPP and the Royal Government to serve the interests of the people. In his remarks, Mr. Kae Kim Yan conveyed greetings and well wishes, and expressed deep appreciation and gratitude to all CPP members, leaders of all units, all types of armed forces, and all compatriots throughout Banteay Meanchey Province for their diligent efforts and contributions to national development. He emphasized that under the wise leadership of Prime Minister Hun Manet, Cambodia continues to transform difficulties into opportunities, strengthening and expanding itself through the promotion of domestic production, the enhancement of national product consumption, and the creation of local employment. Mr. Kae Kim Yan also praised and highly valued the work results achieved by the Malai District Party Committee, working groups at all levels, and all party officials who have strived to achieve numerous successes and accomplishments for the party and the nation. He stressed that the CPP will continue to work together to resolve border disputes between Cambodia and Thailand, resolutely protect national sovereignty and the safety of the people, and thwart all schemes by a handful of anti-national groups who still harbor intentions of causing political instability and distorting information. Concurrently, Mr. Kae Kim Yan reminded party officials at all levels that 2026 is a year for all to jointly prepare for the upcoming election of commune/sangkat councilors for the 6th mandate, scheduled for Sunday, June 6, 2027. Therefore, he appealed to all party officials at all levels and in all sectors to continue serving the people with sincerity, gather all their requests and aspirations, uphold the spirit of nationalism, support all policies, and trust the Royal Government led by Prime Minister Hun Manet in resolving border issues with neighboring countries. Mr. Kae Kim Yan and his delegation also visited and met with residents in Techo Chhne Chhne Village, Tuol Pongro Commune, Malai District, Banteay Meanchey Province, a development village that brings peace to its residents. This visit demonstrated the high attention of the party leadership to the well-being and livelihoods of the people at the grassroots level.
