CNN Indonesia Awards 2026 Set for October Ceremony
CNN Indonesia announced its third "CNN Indonesia Awards" ceremony will be held in October 2026. The awards will honor government ministries, regional governments, state-owned enterprises, and private entities for their contributions to society and the nation. Past recipients include the Governor of DKI Jakarta and several ministers.
CNN Indonesia is preparing to host the "CNN Indonesia Awards 2026," scheduled for October. This annual event serves as a platform for CNN Indonesia to recognize outstanding achievements by various organizations and individuals across the nation. The awards will honor a wide range of recipients, including government ministries, regional governments, state-owned and regional enterprises (BUMN/BUMD), and private sector entities. Recognition will be given for their successful program implementation, contributions to society and the nation, and for inspiring innovation among the public. This year marks the third edition of the awards, following successful ceremonies in 2024 and 2025, which saw numerous government officials and private sector figures receive accolades. For instance, at the 2025 awards, DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung was recognized in the category of "Outstanding Vision in Elevating Jakarta's Global Competitiveness and International Standing." In the ministerial category, ministers from the current Prabowo administration were honored. Abdul Mu'ti, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, received an award for "Outstanding Human Capital Development & Inclusive Education," while Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Coordinating Minister for Regional Development, was recognized for "Excellence in Transformative Infrastructure and Regional Connectivity Development." The CNN Indonesia Awards aim to encourage excellent initiatives and innovations within Indonesia, fostering further national development.
